The main Tree Streets area is a diverse neighborhood of early schools, churches, and modest to large Victorian and post-Victorian homes. Predominantly built from 1890 to 1950, most homes are pleasantly sited upon hilly streets with view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A broad mix of architectural styles are found along the district’s tree-lined streets, which include Chestnut, Walnut, Maple Pine, and Locust Avenues. Follow the tour brochure on foot or by car. Copies of the tour are available at the Waynesboro Office of Tourism, 301 West Main Street, Waynesboro, VA 22980 or call 540.942.6644
